Privacy

The short version: your account is an email address and a password, your progress is saved to it, and nothing else is collected. No advertising, no tracking, and you can delete it all at any time.

Your account

To use the site you sign in with an email address and a password. Accounts are run by Supabase, our database provider. Your password is stored only as a one-way hash, so nobody, including us, can read it. Your email address is used to sign you in and to send a password-reset link when you ask for one. It is never used for marketing or shared.

Your progress

Your revision progress, your mistakes list, your practice exam results and any exam you have paused are saved to your account, so they follow you to any device you sign in on. They are kept in a private file that only this site's server can read, and only for you. A copy is also kept in your browser while you are signed in, so the site works quickly; signing out removes that copy from the device.

You can also save your own copy as a file on the progress page.

What the server sees

When you check an answer, the answer you typed is sent to this site's server to be marked. It is marked and forgotten; only the result is kept in your progress.

Like any website, the server and its network provider (Cloudflare) see your IP address and the pages you request. These records are kept briefly for security and troubleshooting, and are used to stop any one address overloading the site or guessing passwords. They are not used to build a profile of you.

The AI tutor and handwriting reader

Two features use Google's Gemini model: the tutor you can ask about a question, and the reader that turns handwritten working into a typed answer. They only run when you use them. When you do, the question, your answer, your message to the tutor or the image of your handwriting is sent to Google to produce the reply, under Google's terms for its API. Your name and email are never sent.

Do not type personal details into the tutor. It only needs the maths.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account from the account page. That removes your email, your password and your saved progress permanently. It cannot be undone.
